To be a touch more laid back there are boat tours great for birding, photography, beachcombing or fishing and easy walking trails to see island wildlife like great blue herons, pelicans, gulls, turtles, dolphins - always take your camera. And, if you just want to relax - hit the beach, read a book, take a nap. When the sun goes down, local and regional musicians take to the varied stages around town. From Village Creek Landing, join us for a relaxing boat tour through the marshes and rivers between Sea Island and St. Simons. The 2 hr "Norma's Cruise" ($55) is offered daily for up to 6 people, with a minimum charge of $275. Also, birding, beachcombing, photography, sunset cruises & fishing charters are available throughout coastal Georgia. Coastal Georgia's outdoor headquarters since 1994. 2 & 3 hour kayak tours are scheduled daily, timed with the tides & led by experienced guides. Tours include St. Simons, Brunswick, the Altamaha and Satilla Rivers, Sapelo Island, Cumberland Island, Blackbeard Island and Village Creek Landing on St. Simons. Stand up Paddleboarding is a new fun way to explore our waters! From one of our docks or the beaches of Jekyll and St. Simons, we'll plan an introductory session and rental. For only $49/board we deliver, show you the basics, and remain on site throughout your rental. Safety gear and an enthusiastic guide are included. With over 20 years experience, it's our pleasure to help plan your adventure. Custom adventures include combined trips using a powerboat to access remote paddling destinations.
